Owner of Gaia Retreats

I have been a travel and fitness fanatic most of my life. My youth was spent backpacking around the world solo, and I love all forms of fitness for our bodies, minds, and spirit. After going through a divorce I decided to follow my passions again and blend two of the things I love most into a new career. That’s how Gaia Retreats was born!

At Gaia Retreats, we offer our Spring and Fall fitness retreats in beautiful Troncones, Mexico. We also offer custom retreats any time of the year at our property on the beach. Are you a trainer or yoga instructor who has always wanted to offer a retreat to your clients, but don’t know where to start? We can help with that. Are you a healer who would like to host a retreat offering your beautiful services? We can help plan the perfect retreat for you as well. We can customize food and activities just for you to help manifest your vision. Activities could include, cacao ceremonies, yoga, hikes to caves, powerful Temezcals, massages, volunteering at a local animal shelter, birdwatching, beach bonfires, silent discos, salsa lessons, and much more.

Lindsey Woelke

Fitness Trainer

As a mother of three, Lindsey understands the challenges of balancing family life with personal wellness. Her fitness journey began after the birth of her first child, when she turned to CrossFit to regain her strength and vitality. What started as a personal transformation quickly grew into a decade-long passion for fitness and coaching.

 

Lindsey holds a degree in Zoology from Washington State University, is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and a CrossFit Level 2 Coach. With this foundation, she brings both scientific knowledge and practical experience to her coaching, creating programs that are safe, effective, and adaptable to each individual. Currently, she trains at ProClub in Bellevue, where she works with a diverse community of clients. 

 

Her philosophy is rooted in functional fitness—building strength, mobility, and endurance for everyday life, whether that means carrying groceries, playing with kids, or keeping up with life’s demands. Lindsey is passionate about helping people discover personalized, sustainable ways to thrive in both body and mind. She believes that anyone, at any stage, can unlock their potential and live with energy, resilience, and confidence.
